What's New?

Happy New Year to all! Our best to you and yours for 2009. Here at the inn, we're enjoying some well-deserved, hard-earned down time. For the first time in 12 years of innkeeping, we're taking some time off!

Dining: January through April 2009, we will not be serving dinner, other than Valentine's and Easter weekends, and by arrangement for private parties.

Lodging: January through April 2009, we are accepting lodging reservations in advance for stays of two nights or longer.

The month of May will find us back in the usual swing, with dinner Thursday through Sunday and lodging seven days a week.

Valentine's: Cupid's favorite day of the year is just around the corner, and it's a Saturday! Enjoy a special dinner with us, or take advantage of the opportunity and surprise your sweetheart with the perfect weekend getaway.

Tables fill quickly for the following special family celebration days, so we recommend calling early to reserve:
Easter: Sunday, April 12
Mother's Day: Sunday, May 10
Father's Day: Sunday, June 21

Graduation 2009: We're fully booked for Colby, Bowdoin (5/24) and Bates (5/28) commencements, but are accepting names for our waiting list in case of cancellations. Some availability remains for UMF weekend (5/16). For those planning for 2010, we accept lodging reservations up to one year ahead.

Summer Lodging Dates: Many weekends, especially in July and August, book up almost immediately -- so don't forget to plan as early as possible for those camp weekends, reunions, and getaways!

New "News"

~ We're thrilled & proud of the recent feature articles in "Maine Food and Lifestyle", "Port City Life", and "American Express Travel + Leisure Golf" magazines.

~ Congrats to Day's Store, here in the village, celebrating 50 years of business this summer! And to the Belgrade Lakes Association, now 100 years young in protecting the watershed. Thank you to both of these wonderful entities for the festivities they hosted this summer. Day's offered a live music series at the waterfront. The BLA put on a summer's worth of events, including triathalon, boat race, lobster bake, and boat raffle. Thanks also, to both, for their important roles in our community.

~ Welcome, Bacchus House of Wine. The newest addition to the village, featuring a great selection of wine, beer, and cheese.
